This concert is ridiculous. Bloc Party (eh, but they're a popular name so whatever), Santogold, The Ting Tings, Cut Copy, Crystal Castles, The Presets, Hercules and the Love Affair, Simian Mobile Disco, Busy P, and they haven't released a full lineup yet. It's in Miami, too, which is completely doable. Keeping my fingers crossed for: MGMT, LCD Soundsystem, Soulwax, Justice, Boys Noize, MSTRKRFT. The last three were there last year, so it's totally possible.

If Steve Aoki comes I'll try to get to the front row so he can poor vodka down my underage throat, lmao.

I do not want anyone to talk to me for at least five days. Failure to comply with this will result in me never talking to you again, so if that's what you're after, go for it.

Off to the student health center tomorrow morning.

There are times I really like Gainesville. This is not one of them. Between some of my friends being complete morons, being in three classes I am clearly not ready for, and some other personal stuff, it'd be nice to go somewhere else.

The question is: where?

So here is the last week in a nutshell:

I am no longer technically homeless.

I had to appeal to register for classes twice, am now successfully registered, and do not have any classes on Fridays.

I live across the street from the apartment I ditched.

My parents are coming up tomorrow for the first home game, during which I will get my laptop (among other things) back.

It's been kind of a shitty time, but it's over, so I'm really happy right now. I also haven't forgotten about the Baltimore entry, but it'll be a while because I will have to catch up with schoolwork over the long weekend.

The next couple of days/weeks are going to be very interesting, and I probably won't be able to update all that much.

I'm going to need way too much money very soon.

Yes, the weekend was very good (although it had its ups and downs). I plan on making a detailed post about it later, but I'm not posting it publicly. I like being able to talk about everything, so I'm going to post it somewhere and then edit it to remove any incriminating stuff.

Tentative itinerary for the weekend:

I might borrow this game from someone to gold-star all four instruments because it's pretty much the only song I actually like (of those that I've actually listened to) from the setlist. Although I guess singing "Hungry Like The Wolf" should be kind of fun, haha.

After discussing this with omegasox and looking at the activity logs for the site, it has been confirmed that the sows camp got a hold of UKN's password (which apparently had been done once before to user brazoliange), and used it to elevate the user "naket coder" to admin status, allowing it to destroy The Own Zone, then delete their own account, followed by UKN's.

I was already told sherl0k and phuzion had something to do with it, but without any hard evidence, finger-pointing didn't really mean much.

So today has been a pretty awesome day. I woke up at noon, got ready, and went to a barbecue in Palm Harbor at my parents' friends house. I had several margaritas, a ton of good food, and played softball for several hours. I did really well (went 6-8 with 7 RBIs and 1 HR and played an okay first base) and it got me thinking.

What if we try to do a sows vs. #kkk sporting event during otakon weekend, like basketball? We may not like each other much, but that'd make us want to play harder to win (I hope - I'm pretty competitive so I'd try hard either way), and I'm completely down for playing a non-dirty game. I've talked to people that aren't banned from sows (between pibbals and I creating movie night and this idea I'm crowning myself social chair of #kkk? haha) to gauge interest. Some people suggested video game competitions, and I really don't like the idea. We're all from a community that is based around video games - we play them enough and it'd be fun/new/different/exciting (hopefully) to try something else.

We'll see how this goes - it sounds like a good idea in my head but we'll see what other people think. I'm still not 100% on otakon anyways, but I do have a place to stay (thank you Allie!!) and money set aside for it, so I'm going to do everything I can to make it work.

So jobhunting isn't going very well. However, enough is going on in the internet to keep me kind of distracted from that. I've filled out a new batch of applications, my standards slightly lower, and we'll see how that goes.

Some things I've learned in the past 24 hours include: Disney movies pre-1990 are quite bad, lemonade and amaretto are not a good mix, I am not doing the apartment thing with Jeremy because the deal sucks, Jouva is actually KeyboardManiaGuy (this was a funny story), and I might have a place to stay in Gainesville should I want to move back. Oh PS IIDX Empress is either IIDX: My Sweet Sixteen or IIDX: Blingee. I don't really care about IIDX so whatever.

On a different note, I want to make this crystal clear:

I'm claiming myself as not responsible for anything I say or do for the next 24 hours. The sedative they gave me hits like a fucking rhinoceros. Good day.

EDIT: Update from ~6 hours later. I feel terrible and can't sleep. I don't think that's how sedatives are supposed to work. Fortunately my mouth feels fine for the time being.

The lower left portion of my mouth is in pain right now. I had an infection pop up in March (two months after wisdom teeth surgery part 1 in January) that they decided to perform IMPROMPTU surgery on (and they didn't wait for the novacaine to kick in =/ ), and in 20 hours the two wisdom teeth on my right side are being removed.

I get codeine and , which is nice, but I'm going to be a grumpy dude for a few days. I don't want a repeat of the following situation, though:

The day following my first surgery, I woke up and was a bit groggy. I noticed my hand felt funny, and saw it was caked in blood. I was drooling blood and it had made a considerable stain on the sheets. My gauze had come out of my mouth and I found that, coated in blood as well. I screamed because I had no idea what was going on. I think I went back to sleep shortly after that.

So yeah. The next few days should be jawesome. GET IT THIS HAS TO DO WITH MY JAW HURTING AND ITS AWESOME NOW I THINK I SEE WHERE THIS WORD ORIGINATED!!!!!!!
